Boudoir
— Alternative Boudoir —
What makes my style of boudoir considered alternative?
In short; you. For years the idea of boudoir photography would often conjure up images of petite, clear skinned women surrounded by bright & airy backgrounds. Now there is nothing wrong with that, but what I love most is being able to create dark, moody images for all of us folks with varying body types with tattoos & piercings.
We often go the extra mile in physical self expression in more ways than one that are often considered outside of the “norm”. And I Love that shit! I’ve found that most of the people who fall under the “Alt Umbrella” are more in touch with themselves, or on their way to being as such.
The body that moves you right now deserves to be acknowledged as the vessel of badassery that it is.
I don’t want you to “suck it in” and I don’t want to nitpick your movements or posing. I want to capture the movements and expressions that come naturally to you. Lets capture moments & emotions, not boring cookie cutter poses.
Of course, I will provide guidance. I’m not going to be an asshole and leave you without any help on positioning at all though so don’t worry!
Then allow me to offer you some advice: Take a thousand, naked pictures of yourself now. You may currently think, "Oh, I'm too spooky." Or, "Nobody wants to see these tiny boobies." But, believe me, one day you will look at those photos with much kinder eyes and say, "Dear God, I was a beautiful thing!"
